- James Sidas, the youngest person to graduate from MIT, a brilliant physicist, is now a courier and suddenly can't sign his name.
- How House gets involved:
- House is trying to butter up Cuddy to get an invite to Thanksgiving dinner so he can break up her romance with Lucas.
- The privacy invasion / ethical breach / Rule Breaking
- Chase and Taub go into his home where they find acohol hidden in a vent and cough medicine. And House tries to break up Cuddy and Lucas, even to telling Lucas that he loves Cuddy. And then he gives the patient more cough medicine so he can relate to his wife again.
- Preliminary diagnoses:
- TTP (thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura) is suggested so Chase removes the spleen but then the patient has a stroke so they assume the removal of the spleen was unnecessary and look around for other things than TTP and House figures out he has been taking large doses of cough medicine (along with one drink a day) to dull his brain so they clear that from his system but he develops new symptoms.
- The final diagnosis
- TTP (thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura) as his spleen had broken into pieces 12 years before during a suicide attempt so the new spleens also had to be removed.

- We saw a couple (from the 45 min House does to impress Cuddy) but only learned much about one who was during another session and who turned out to be investigating for the insurance company.
- Additional Information:
- Chase has been hounded by everyone trying to help him deal with Cameron leaving. He finally takes it out on House (which accomplishes his goal of getting everyone else to leave him alone).
- Taub takes a picture of House with the damage Chase did and claims to his wife that he did it --- this gets him the sex she has been withholding since he went back to House's team.
