Also, House decides to name a team leader in the all-new "Man of the House" episode of HOUSE airing Monday, Feb. 20 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. (HOU-813) (TV-14 D, L)
- Timeline
- Chase is still limping a bit from the recent stabbing and they still haven't recovered as a team.
- Patient of the Week

- How House gets involved:
- The privacy invasion / ethical breach / Rule Breaking
- Preliminary diagnoses:
- House thinks Joe's problem is low testosterone due to having been kicked in the crotch in a bar fight several years ago. But giving him testosterone shows up a new symptom and a little while later he starts seeing double. The treatment brings on liver failure causing jaundice. Taub suggests celiac disease but he doesn't insist on it and they treat for lyme disease. When that doesn't work Adams, on her own, does a test for celiac. Taub looks over old recordings of Joe before he changed from being a business motivational speaker to a relationship speaker. He points out that his voice was lower before.
- The final diagnosis
- Polyglandular Autoimmune Syndrome type III which caused celiac.
- Who Came up with final diagnosis
- House going further than Taub's celiac suggestion.
- Clinic Patients
- none
- Additional Information:
- Taub wins the position of Under Team Leader/Second Team Leader by offering House half of the increase in salary.

- Quotes, Quotations, Dialogue, Scenes:
- House's "wife" returns to ask him to help her convince Immigration that their marriage is real so she can get a green card. She offers him $30,000. So House goes to Wilson. "I need my apartment key back."
"If you're breaking up with me, can't we at least talk about it first."
"Maybe if you weren't all nag and no shag."
"I don't sleep with married men."
House turns to leave saying, "I'll get a copy made."
"You're an ex-con. If you get caught perjring yourlsef to Homeland Security, you'll end up back in jail."
"And that would be troubling if there was the slightest chance we'd get caught."
"You barely know each other." Taub interrupts with new tests and House tells Wilson he'll get back to him. Wilson says, "I said I think its stupid, right? Then I think I'm done."
- House offers someone on the team a slight promotion and he soon has everyone competing for it although nobody really wants it at first. Taub tells House he thinks it is a mistake and House shouldn't upset the situation that the stabbing has caused in the team. "Everybody was playing nice and in your world nice doesn't solve cases, but after what happened a little bonding is a good thing. We still have ideas; we still argue. Maybe it would work better if we appreciated each other."
- House has been riding Taub about his possible low testosterone due to his having children. Taub seemed to dismiss it but then he later admits to House, "Adams and I both thought the patient could have celiac but only she was willing to go out on a limb and runt the test. I gave up."
House has been listening to all that Taub said about the celiac and the lower voice and comes up with the solution to the case and tells Taub, "You bailed too early, now I get all the credit."
