Emily still sucks like a Hoover. She's an idiot and I loathe her.To the point where, just yesterday, I said to Best Friend, aghast, "I think I like ~Leez~ more than her!?"
I was momentarily stunned by my revelation.
GAH.
Natalia Livingston needs a breath coach. She needs a wardrobe person who doesn't hate her. And Emily needs a complete rewrite. She makes no sense whatsoever and Livingston can't pull it off.
Now, mind you, Leez has been completely rewritten and it seems to work for her character. She started out as the bitchy leather wearing skank until she was raped. We listened to her whine for two years and then she became the Angel of Port Charles. (Until there was a momentary pschysophrenic bit with Courtney falling in love with Jason. Leez felt that Jason was "hers"---wha?--and devolved into her old self for a minute or two.....but then back to Pollyanna she went.)
In the current plot, after much fiddling around, what we have now is that more and more people know about Baby John's true paternity. Carly, Jax, Maxie and Robin. Hmm. We see where that's headed.
Lulu and Diego are hell bent on breaking Georgie and Dillon up. Georgie and Dillon, oblivious to anything but their jealousy (not anticipating a conspiracy) are working on a divorce.
The main plot is a sad if not predictable one. Sam is recovering from brain surgery and Alexis wants her to move into their new house.....Skye's old set......as her daughter. Or, as Alexis says it, "Daw-der." hee I can't complain because the way she says it gives her such conviction that you've gotta stand up for Motherhood, Apple Pie and America.
Sam wants to go back to Jason but he's doing the martyr thing, "I'm just too dan-ger-ous!"Lots of tears ensue.
Everyone is turning in a great performance, though.
Meanwhile, Sonny is doing some weird version of BiPolar disease wherein he's alternating between manic highs and lows and some sort of inexplicable anger management problem.
That's it!
Oh, Dr. Drake is a frelling HOTTIE and is a cross between McDreamy (so I've been told) and Greg House. He and Robin ~finally~ got it on and it was truly romantic and hilarious at the same time. :-) Yay, sex!
